
Woman to Woman is Cole's fifth studio album, released November 19, 2012, in the United States by Geffen Records. "Long Way Down" was issued as a promotional single. The following single, "Take Me Away", peaked at number 20 on the Billboard Bubbling Under chart. "I Ain't Thru" featuring Nicki Minaj peaked on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart at number 19. The album produced two singles, as well as a promotional single. The album debuted and peaked at number nine on the Billboard 200, with first week sales of 129,000. Calling All Hearts is Cole's fourth album, released on December 21, 2010, in the United States by Geffen Records. A Different Me spawned three singles: "Playa Cardz Right", "You Complete Me", and "Trust" featuring R&B singer Monica. The album has been certified platinum by the RIAA, and has sold 1 million copies in the US. The album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 with first week sales of 322,000, the highest of Cole's career. A Different Me is Cole's third album, released on December 16, 2008, in the United States.

It was nominated for Best Contemporary R&B Album at the 50th Grammy Awards that were held in February 2008, but lost to Ne-Yo's Because of You. The album was released on September 25, 2007, on Geffen Records, and debuted and peaked at number two on the Billboard 200. Just Like You is the second studio album by Cole. It was promoted by four singles "I Changed My Mind", "(I Just Want It) To Be Over", "I Should Have Cheated", and "Love", of which two reached the top ten of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

The album peaked at number six on the US Billboard 200 and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
